In this specialist class, we will focus on fermentation, an ancient method of preserving and enriching foods. Students will discover a variety of fermented foods, their uses, and their health benefits, alongside the specifics and techniques necessary in the process of fermentation, how to ferment at home, and the best equipment to use. The class will be a mixture of demonstration, hands on cooking, with lots of tips, talking and tasting.
You will learn techniques to make and use ferments such as:
- Water Kefir
- Cooking with miso
- Marinating tempeh
